The YTS curriculum connected fundamentals of computation, hardware interfaces, programming and microcontrollers with real-world challenges. The programme’s maker-builder approach was a good fit for my interest in understanding how mathematics and physics become working systems.
Teleoperation project
During the programme, I worked on a teleoperation project and gained hands-on experience building a working robot model. The experience helped connect technical concepts with the practical decisions involved in making a system operate.
What I learned
The programme helped me explore engineering through hands-on work rather than only through theory. of real-world applications.
