Travelity: an accessible travel idea

My team and I developed Travelity, an online travel portal concept for people with disabilities. The idea required us to think about the needs of a specific user group and how a service could make travel more accessible.

My role as CFO

I worked on the financial analysis and business plan, including assessing the venture’s economics and preparing a seed pitch. The jury appreciated the depth of the financial analysis. The experience connected my interest in entrepreneurship with the discipline of testing whether a promising idea could work as a business.

What I took away

The programme introduced a practical sequence: create an idea, evaluate it, develop the model and communicate its launch readiness. It helped me see that social purpose and commercial viability need to be considered together when building a venture.

My programme reflections are available below; a personal project report or presentation can be added if supplied.
